An annual run returned to Green Bay last weekend, and this year it included a special guest — 98-year-old Iwo Jima survivor, Bert Compton. The event was a 5K run/walk with proceeds benefiting a military veteran cause in northeast Wisconsin. This year’s beneficiary is UW-Green Bay’s veteran and service member student lounge.
