GREEN BAY, Wis. (WLUK) — With just about eight days until the first day of school, UW Green Bay faculty and staff got to hear how they can expect the new school year to look. The university’s fall convocation was back in-person Wednesday morning, and many were happy to be back. Faculty, staff and administrators from all four UW Green Bay campuses gathered once again for the annual fall convocation. Because of the pandemic, last year it had to be all-virtual. But not this time around.“I haven’t seen most of my colleagues for a year and a half, so it’s kind of an interesting series of reunions,” UWGB biology professor Mike Draney said. The energy and excitement just to be back around their peers was definitely palpable.
