Press-Gazette: Upward Bound helps kids break barriers

The Upward Bound program at UW-Green Bay had 60 young people honored at the end-of-summer student banquet last week Tuesday (July 28).

Green Bay Press-Gazette reporter Karen Lincoln Michel sat down for a question and answer session about Upward Bound with Michael Casbourne, director of TRIO and Precollege Programs at UW-Green Bay.

“I can honestly say that I don’t have a job; I have a calling, as well as the rest of my staff — I think they all believe that we have some of the most fabulous jobs that anyone could have,” Casbourne answered one question.
