UntitledTown Book Festival is making a name for itself
The organizers of the UntitledTown Book and Author Festival want people to associate Green Bay with books and writing, reports the Green Bay Press-Gazette. The festival, held April 28-30 in downtown Green Bay, will host a variety of events from readings, workshops, discussions and a book expo. Well-known Wisconsin writer Michael Perry will kick off the festival April 28 and two nationally known authors, Margaret Atwood and Sherman Alexie, will close it on April 30. Numerous UW-Green Bay alumni, students, faculty and board members are helping out with the festival, and the UW-Green Bay Alumni Association is serving as a sponsor.
