Public can offer input on UW-Green Bay, Marinette Campus | News | ehextra.com

MARINETTE — Marinette County Administrator John Lefebvre will conduct a listening session in the Herbert L. Williams Theatre at the University of Wisconsin — Green Bay, Marinette Campus from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 21.

Lefebvre is interested in hearing from the public on any matter under the jurisdiction of Marinette County, and is especially interested in suggestions related to the redevelopment of the UW-Green Bay, Marinette Campus.

There will be no formal presentation so the public can come at their leisure and offer their comments and, if they so choose, leave after sharing their ideas or may stay for the entire length of the listening session.

People also can share their thoughts by email to john.lefebvre@marinettecountywi.gov.

UW-Green Bay chancellor Michael Alexander addressed the Marinette County Board last week regarding the county-owned buildings on campus. He said the university is committed to the theatre on campus, but the overall footprint will be much smaller. UWGB has stated that in-person classes in Marinette will end at the conclusion of the current semester.
