Draney talks bed bugs spread through books
UW-Green Bay Prof. Michael Draney was interviewed this week about Bed Bugs. (See a previous story, Buggers of Brown County.) Draney brings his (bug) expertise to the Brown County Bed Bug Taskforce. WBAY localized a national story about the possibility of bed bugs being spread through books. “Bed bugs are definitely attracted to inanimate objects that have narrow spaces that they can hide in,” said Draney. “There’s a lot of ways in which people get bed bugs that’s a lot more likely, in particular going to hotels, that’s where most people seem to pick up populations of bed bugs.”
