Convocation: Three weeks out and counting

Here’s a calendar reminder to one and all:

The annual UW-Green Bay Fall Convocation will open yet another school year on Wednesday, Aug. 24, in the University Union. The agenda for the 10 a.m. gathering:

•  Presentation of Founders Association Awards of Excellence
•  Introduction of new faculty and staff
•  Remarks by Chancellor Harden
•  Lunch

Dessert will be in the form of the traditional late-afternoon ice cream social, 3:15 to 4 p.m., in the Union’s Leona Cloud Commons. Invitations to Convocation will be sent directly to faculty and staff members sometime next week.
