New video: Health sciences camp is ‘way too fantastic’

The health professionals of tomorrow are getting some hands-on experience today thanks to “Life’s a Lab Reality Science,” the high school summer camp that’s concluding its three-day run on campus Wednesday (Aug. 3). More than 30 students from Wisconsin and beyond took part in the second annual offering, which co-director Amanda Nelson, faculty member in Human Biology, describes as combining hands-on lab experiments with tours and real-life experience in a variety of medical fields. Here’s a new video from camp (which, for the sake of disclosure, includes sheep parts not in their natural environment. We recommend not viewing over lunch): Click here.
