Friday’s ‘Regentvision’ will feature some of UW-Green Bay’s finest

UW-Green Bay’s Professional Program in Education, along with Human Development Prof. Regan Gurung, will be among the honorees Friday (June 10) as the UW System presents its 2011 Regents Teaching Excellence Awards. Those who can’t make it to Milwaukee for the Board of Regents meeting aren’t out of luck, however — the meeting will be webcast live from approximately 9 a.m. until noon. The teaching awards are the fifth item on the agenda. So while we can’t tell you exactly when Gurung, Education chair Timothy Kaufman and others will make their cameo, we can tell you where — and approximately what time — to watch. Simply log onto http://www.uwex.edu/ics/stream/regents/meetings/ fairly early during Friday’s webcast to see the Regents in action. Thursday’s meeting also will be webcast, from 10 a.m. until noon.
