More Dale: Voter turnout, Barrett margin among night’s surprises

Prof. Tim Dale appeared live on last night’s (Tuesday, May 8) WFRV, Channel 5 news, to offer his take on the gubernatorial recall primary. Dale, Democracy and Justice Studies, said the relatively high voter turnout was a surprise, as was how handily Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett ended up winning the Democratic primary. But Barrett has his work cut out for him, Dale said, especially in our area. The Milwaukee mayor was a lot closer to runner-up Kathleen Falk in Brown County and much of Northeastern Wisconsin than he was elsewhere in the state. You can watch Dale’s analysis here.
