There was big news in the financial world Tuesday (March 5), as the Dow Jones Industrial Average reached a new record and analysts offered their take on what the milestone means in the short- and long-term. WLUK, Fox 11 reporter Ben Krumholz turned to UW-Green Bay Associate Finance Prof. Bill Lepley, who provided some context for a story that aired during the evening news. “Whenever the market goes up,” Lepley said, “you’re basically seeing the result of a vote — where people are voting with their dollars.
