Hutchison presents study update to Harbor Commission

UW-Green Bay Prof. Ray Hutchison (Urban and Regional Studies) presented an update on the Intermodal Port Study at Monday’s (Jan. 11) monthly meeting of the Brown County Harbor Commission. Hutchison summarized early work on a freight flow analysis for Northeastern Wisconsin, including an online survey completed by about 70 area businesses. He also discussed goods currently transported from the North Central region to the ports in Houston and Baltimore that might better be directed through the Port of Green Bay.
