Prof. Kaye on national talk radio to talk FDR, ‘Four Freedoms’
Prof. Harvey J. Kaye (SCD) was interviewed on the Thom Hartmann Radio Show Thursday (Jan. 6) regarding Franklin Roosevelt’s “Four Freedoms” speech. Thursday was the 70th anniversary of FDR’s 1941 State of the Union Address in which he offered his vision of “Freedom of Speech… Freedom of Worship… Freedom from Want… Freedom from Fear…” Kaye is currently working on a new book on the Four Freedoms and is one of the historical advisers to the Four Freedoms Park Project under way in New York City. Hartmann bills his program as “America’s Number 1 Progressive Radio Show” and while his numbers lag others in the conservative-dominated talk radio industry, he can be heard on stations across all states and three continents, on AM and FM stations, and on some local cable networks. The Kaye segment is archived here.
