432nd plans homecoming event June 9 at Kress


The Army Reserve 432nd Civil Affairs Battalion is planning to hold its welcome-home event at the UW-Green Bay Kress Events Center at 9 a.m. Saturday, June 9. WBAY-TV’s Bill Jartz is scheduled to emcee and the event will also feature brief remarks by Mayor Jim Schmitt and various state and local officials as family, friends and private citizens greet the soldiers on their return from Afghanistan. The 432nd held its departure ceremony at the Kress in March 2011.
