A cheering crowd of several hundred greeted the UW-Green Bay women’s basketball team Monday (March 28) upon their return to campus from the Sweet 16 round of the 2011 NCAA Tournament. For a recap and photos of the celebration.

The short-notice gathering took place at 1 p.m., about the busiest time of day for classes on a Monday in late March, but the lively crowd and solid showing of support impressed members of the UW-Green Bay women’s basketball team. WBAY-TV 2’s Jeff Alexander posted his coverage online.
