Another 100 doses, another H1N1 clinic set for Friday (Dec. 11)

The Counseling and Health Center has just received another 100 doses of the H1N1 vaccine and will hold a clinic Friday (Dec. 11) from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in their Student Services Building offices. Director Amy Henniges calls our attention to this quote from Dr. James C. Turner of the American College Health Association: “Vaccinating prior to the major winter holidays would help prevent spreading the disease to families and communities and protect students in case a third wave starts in January.” Friday’s free clinic is open on a walk-in basis to any students, faculty and staff who meet the priority criteria. For a reminder on the criteria, see a previous post on the subject.
