Donations needed for Operation Ready Aim Comfort

Donations are needed for Operation Ready Aim Comfort, a community project designed to raise comfort items for local homeless veterans that has the backing of some of our student and staff veterans here at UW-Green Bay. The goal is to fill 240 backpacks with items and donate these bags to the local shelters, and homeless programs that work with vets.

Items needed include: Nail clippers, toothpaste, tooth brushes, socks, coats, deodorant, blankets, baby wipes, shaving cream, sweatshirts, sweatpants, hats, gloves, foot and hand warmers, combs, shampoo, toilet paper, trail mix, granola bars, crackers, chap stick, gum, mouthwash or any east-to-carry food items.

Items can be donated in Green Bay at the Volunteer Center, the 9th Street Wellness Center or the Social Work Office and Phoenix Bookstore at UW-Green Bay.
