Many organizations depend on volunteers to deliver vital services to their clients. Effective management of volunteer talent is essential in today’s economy. Topics covered in this workshop include: Understanding Volunteers, Volunteer Management Best Practices, Volunteer Recruitment, and Characteristics of Effective Organizations. The event is Tuesday, Oct. 5 from 2-4:30 p.m. in the University Union, Room 103 and is sponsored by the Office of Student Life and the Academic Staff Committee. Register online.
