CATL call on Nov. 20 engagement workshop

The cowpokes from CATL — the Center for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning — will be holding a workshop from 1-2 p.m. in MAC 206 on Friday (Nov. 20), to look at student engagement. Research says that student engagement is the best predictor and determinant of learning. But what is it? Associate Prof. Denise Bartell (Human Development) will lead a presentation that examines the issue and offers practical information and strategies for effective engagement.
