UW-Green Bay’s Center For The Advancement of Teaching And Learning is sponsoring a webinar on “Innovative Strategies To Prevent Cheating and Enhance Learning In The Classroom.” The webinar will be held from 2:45 to 5 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 13, with IS 1034 the campus downlink site. It’s described as an excellent opportunity for faculty to explore the reasons for cheating and learn about the “must-have syllabus statements” that encourage academic honesty. Presenters will share relationship-building techniques that encourage open communication, describe innovative assessment tools that discourage cheating, and identify creative tools to not only detect cheating but also to enhance learning.
