Fall 2019 Global Studies Event, ‘Hong Kong Protests’ Nov. 1
On Friday, Nov., 1, 2019 from 1 to 2:30 p.m. in MAC 111, there will be a Fall 2019 Global Studies event discussing recent Hong Kong Protests in context of both the 70th anniversary of the founding of People’s Republic of China and U.S.-China bilateral relations. Laurie Dennis, Associate Director of UW China Initiative and Affiliate of UW Center for East Asian Studies, and two UW Law School students with expertise on the topic, Alfred Tsai (Taiwan) and Jack Ji (China) will lead the discussion.
