Suicide awareness program is open to military veterans

At 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, there will be a free program for veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces who have lost a friend or loved one to suicide. The program, open to any veteran, will be held at the Aging and Disability Resource Center in Green Bay at 300 S. Adams St. and will be facilitated by Dr. Aruna Jha, who is the suicide prevention coordinator for the JH Bradley Outpatient Clinic in Appleton. Lunch will be provided. The event is sponsored by the Brown County Coalition for Suicide Prevention.
