More on Meal Plans
FAST Meal Plans are new to UW‑Green Bay and serve as option for staff and faculty to purchase meals in larger quantity at prices-per-meal lower than paying with cash, credit or points. The FAST 75 Block Plan, at the normal plan cost of $475, equates to a cost-per-meal of $5.67 plus there are $50 in FAST Points for when you don’t need or want a full meal. This fall, during September only, the FAST 75 Block Plan is being discounted $50 through the generosity of Chartwells. This reduces the effective cost of each meal to $5.00 and you still have the $50 in FAST points. The meals in the FAST Block Plans will remain on your University ID account until they are used. They can also be used for combo meals in the retail operations.
Free mug, includes free refills of coffee and fountain soda
All staff purchasing the FAST 75 Block Plan will receive a free reusable mug. Included with this mug are free (not kidding here) refills of regular coffee and fountain soda beverages at all retail locations on campus (where coffee and fountain beverages are offered).
Renovation updates for University dining
The Phoenix Club Food Court (Union 1st Floor), including Rustic Range and Zatar (Mediterranean Cuisine), is scheduled to open next week. The Garden Café (Cofrin Library First Floor), future home of Mondo’s Subs, Create (salads, wraps, entree’s), Outtakes (convenience goods), is on schedule to open the week of October 3. Cloud Commons, Common Grounds Coffeehouse, The Corner Store, MAC Hall, and Rosewood Café are currently open to diners.
