Video: Dining Guidelines & App for Fall 2020 Semester

Attention Green Bay Campus students, faculty, and staff… Dining Services has new safety dining procedures and a new UWGB Dining App. Search for “Transact Mobile Ordering” and download. Then search for “UWGB Dining” and login using UWGB credentials.

The new Dining Area Guidelines:
-Food may only be consumed in designated areas of campus
-Areas will be marked to ensure all users abide by physical distancing requirements
-Masks must be worn unless actively eating or drinking
-You must be seated in the designated area to be able to remove your mask

Video Transcript: Hello, Phoenix Family UW-Green Bay is prioritizing our safety first and foremost when coming back this fall. You will be required to wear a mask when you are not actively eating or drinking. Tables and chairs will be placed six feet apart as well. UW-Green Bay is becoming creative with the ways with our dining services. There will be plus one meals available where you can take a meal with you and eat at any dining location on campus. There are Phoenix feet stickers placed on the floor when you are entering the Marketplace in order to issue social distancing. You will not need to serve yourself there will be people that will serve your food for you. As well as for drinks people will put a cup down for you so that you can pick it up safely. UWGB will be offering their own Dining App this semester for online delivery or pickup for your food, as well as free delivery to all residence halls on campus.

With the recent precautions to prevent COVID-19, all on-campus dining locations will have adjusted hours and services as we work to reduce the risk of transmission. There is a new UW-Green Bay dining location on the UW-Green Bay campus! Located next to the Green Bay Grill in the lower level of the Union, Phoenix Phresh provides you with delicious made-to-order salads, wraps and smoothies.

In addition, don’t forget to try the newest items at Green Bay Grill; loaded Tator Tots from Late Night Breakfast are now on the Grill’s menu. Plus, there are also great transfer meal options at the grill as well:

Thank you! PHLASH Meals program making a difference

The PHLASH Meals Program provides up to five meals per month to students in need. Students can request the meals using an online form submission here. In the Fall 2018 semester, PHLASH Meals provided 255 meals to 40 unique students. The Fall 2018 PHLASH Meals Drive held December 4-6, raised $411 Dining Points, $40 in Pass Points and 271 meals toward the program; a total of 66 UW-Green Bay Phoenix donated to the cause.  Look for a Spring 2019 PHLASH Meals Drive near the end of the semester.

PHLASH Meals donation drive to take place Tuesday, Dec. 4 through Thursday, Dec. 6

The PHLASH Meals donation drive will be taking place Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2018 through Thursday, Dec. 6, 2018 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Cloud Commons located in UW-Green Bay’s University Union. Students, staff and faculty can donate meals to the PHLASH Meals program, which provides up to five meals per month to students who are in need. Donations will be accepted at a terminal located at the Cloud Commons entrance. Please consider donating leftover meals from this semester to help ‘pay it forward’ to your fellow Phoenix. Luncheon in honor of National Native American Heritage Month to be held Tuesday, Nov. 13 in Cloud Commons

In honor of National Native American Heritage Month, Multi-Ethnic Student Affairs (MESA) will be hosting author and poet, Heid E. Erdrich on Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2018 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Cloud Commons located in UW-Green Bay’s University Union. Chef Corey will be doing a cooking demo with her, using the Global Kitchen station in the Marketplace to feature items from her cookbook, “Original Local, Ingenious Foods, Stories and Recipes.” This luncheon is open to the public and is available for the regular cost of dining in the Marketplace for $6.75, plus tax.
