Furniture Adoption, the sequel

Residence Life confirms today that UVHI has given the OK for another free giveaway of well-used residence hall furniture. This time, the opportunity will involve approximately 150 dressers and 150 desks. (Sorry, no beds.) The “adoption” will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. this Saturday (Aug. 6) at Small, Vanderperren and Warren Halls located on Leon Bond Circle. Glenn Gray, Residence Life director, says while the scale will be smaller, the same distribution protocols will be observed as during last weekend’s extremely well-received event. All UW-Green Bay students, faculty and staff will receive a special issue of the LOG on Thursday (Aug. 4) with an attached copy of a new Revised Hold Harmless Agreement, along with more details.
