SLO news: more healthy greens for sale, this Wednesday

The SLO Food Alliance will have a produce sale again this Wednesday (June 19) from noon to 1 p.m. at their stand over at the University Union. We’re told, much as last week, that spinach, lettuce, arugula, kale and herbs (cilantro, chives, summer savory, tarragon, and sage) will be available for purchase. Also this week: daikon radishes and bok choi for that Asian stir fry that you have been planning. As always, small bills are appreciated. The organizers have also asked us to note, for people planning to check out the Union’s “Get the Scoop” ice cream stand nearby on that day, “There is no waiting in line for healthy greens!”
