The Center for Civic Engagement seeks a volunteer to build capacity for our “Civic Scholars” program and fight poverty in Brown County through supporting UW-Green Bay students working in the community. The VISTA will gain experience in project management, civic education, and organizing, as well as opportunities to work directly with students. For more information, check out the full description of the opportunity, stipend, and educational award, or contact the Center for Civic Engagement by emailing Alison Staudinger (staudina@uwgb.edu) or David Coury (couryd@uwgb.edu). First consideration will be given to those who apply before June 5th, for a start date in August 2020.
