Each spring, falcons nest at WEC power plants across the state. They’ve placed cameras in the nest boxes to watch the baby chicks as they emerge from their eggs and quickly grow up before leaving the nest. Every year, WEC holds a naming contest to name the chicks, and this year’s theme is Wisconsin college mascots!
Voting is open to anyone and the top names will be assigned to the birds. These are the official names the birds will have for the rest of their lives! Click here to vote for your favorite five names!
