Professors Wilson-Doenges and Voelker to facilitate Sustainability Community of Practice

Are you passionate about sustainability and looking for a way to incorporate it into your teaching? Look no further than the Sustainability Community of Practice (SCoPe)! SCoPe provides a space and community for instructors to infuse environmental sustainability (broadly defined) into a new or existing course, whether it’s adding a unit that focuses on a major sustainability challenge or making sustainability a primary focus throughout the entire course.

Courses from all areas of the curriculum are appropriate for infusing sustainability concepts and content. All full-time instructors, including lecturers, teaching professors, and tenure-track faculty, are eligible to apply. SCoPE is sponsored by the Office of Sustainability and the Sustainability Committee. The year-long program will begin in September 2023 and will be co-facilitated by Professors Georjeanna Wilson-Doenges and David Voelker.

Participants who complete the program will receive a $500 stipend. Applications are due May 8. Click here for more information!
