“Flipping the Classroom” faculty discussion is next Monday
Would you like to use class time more effectively? Having trouble getting students to read the material before class? An alternative way of presenting information can be to “cover” it via podcasts or other technology with the result that class time is devoted to more active learning. The discussion will take place on Monday (April 16) from noon to 1:30 p.m. in the Union’s 1965 Room. Presenters are Profs. Angie Bauer (biology), David Voelker (history) and Jeremy Wildenberg (modern languages). Organized by CATL—the Center for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning.
