Art Program open house for community, prospective students is Wednesday
The UW-Green Bay Art Program invites the campus community to join them on Wednesday (April 13) for the Art Program Open House. The open house is expressly designed to allow prospective students, their parents and teachers and our UW System colleagues an opportunity to visit our campus and get a first-hand look at what UW-Green Bay has to offer undergraduates interested in pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Studio Art, Arts Management, Design Arts and Art Education. “With assistance from the Admissions office we have invited 250 individuals, 100 high school teachers and their students and our colleagues at the 2-year campuses and their students to attend the open house.” The open house will run from 2 to 6 p.m. During that time, faculty will be leading tours of their studios every half hour. The tours are optional; you may also come and go throughout the Studio Arts Building as you please. There will be technical demonstrations in all of the nine studio areas: painting, drawing, printmaking, photography, graphic design, sculpture, textiles, jewelry/metals and ceramics. Know of someone who might be interested? Pass the word.
