Mattison: WWHEL funds second leadership book discussion, this time on introverts
Sue Mattison, dean of the college of professional studies, reports that Wisconsin Women in Higher Education Leadership has generously funded a second year of leadership book discussions for the UW-Green Bay campus. Mark your calendars for the group discussion, on Monday, April 14, from 3:30 to 5 p.m. in the University Union’s Heritage Room. The discussion for spring semester is looking at leadership in non-traditional forms — in general and as they apply to women — from the book Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World that Can’t Stop Talking by Susan Cain. (Read a New York Times Book Review piece on the work.) Please contact Mattison at mattisos@uwgb.edu to receive a copy of the book and participate in the discussion.
