Black History Month events continue Tuesday with documentary, discussion

UW-Green Bay’s recognition and celebration of Black History Month continues Tuesday (Feb. 7) with a documentary and discussion on “The Murder of Emmett Till.” The event explores the story of Till, who was murdered by two white men in 1955 because he whistled at a white woman in Money, Miss. The case repulsed the nation, while inspiring the emerging Civil Rights movement. Tuesday’s event runs from 5-7 p.m. in the Union’s Christie Theatre, with Education Prof. James Coates facilitating.
