Phuture Phoenix awards $32,000-plus in scholarships for new, continuing students

UW-Green Bay’s signature Phuture Phoenix program has awarded more than $32,000 in new and continuing scholarships for the 2013-14 school year, continuing to fulfill its mission of making college a reality for students from low-income schools. Each student — six new and 18 continuing — receives a total of $1,350 to help defray the cost of college. Students must have participated in the Phuture Phoenix program in some way, must have proof of admittance to UW-Green Bay and must have demonstrated financial need.
