Common Theme announces first two guest lectures

The Campus Common Theme for 2012-13 is “Creativity, Innovation, and Vision.”

Faculty, staff and students are invited to engage the theme, whether in the classroom, as a service opportunity or as part of a student organization. Two events are already in the works. Cathy Davidson, the author of Now You See It: How the brain science of attention will transform the way we live, work, and learn, will be featured at 8 p.m. Oct. 9 in the Phoenix Room. Also presenting at UW-Green Bay as part of the Common Theme will be artist, designer, and urban planner Cindy Chang, who explores making cities more comfortable and contemplative places. More information about these lectures and other activities related to the Common Theme will be available in August prior to the start of Fall Semester. Brenda Amenson-Hill and Donna Ritch are Common Theme co-chairs. For more on the 2012-13 topic, click here.
