Founders Fall Reception gets eight stars

Judy Ward, Bob Bush and Carol Bush at the Founders Fall MeetingThe 33rd annual Founders Fall Reception received eight out of a possible eight stars, according to organizer Shane Kohl.

That’s four stars each for the appetizer reception (“Attendees raved about the food,” said Kohl) and the four-star reviewed student performance of “Little Shop of Horrors” in the University Theatre.

The change in format from a traditional dinner to a reception and show was warmly received as both a wonderful opportunity for stewardship and a nice way to thank our donors, according to Kohl, University Advancement’s Director of Development.

The Founders Association is made up of community members, alumni, faculty, staff and friends who generously support the University and its students through annual giving.
