Thanks to a generous gift from the Friends of the Cofrin Library, the third floor lobby area of the library has been updated with some stylish new furniture. Take a look below at the before and after photos of the lobby.

…comfortable, updated furniture! Cofrin Library staff members say they’re thrilled the third floor lobby furniture has been brought into this decade. It now provides a much more inviting entrance to the Reference area and main desk; early reports say students are enjoying the space. Through various fundraisers and member dues, the Friends organization raises money to supplement the Library collection and provide special “extras” for the facility and its patrons. Library Director Paula Ganyard says the new furniture is the icing on the cake for this summer’s third floor improvement projects. “If you haven’t stopped by the library to check out the changes we’ve made to our Reference area, we think you’ll be pleasantly surprised.”
