Moving experience: Volunteers give freshmen a hand
UW-Green Bay is known for its tradition of faculty/staff volunteers pitching in to assist on move-in day for new freshmen. A beautiful sunny morning on Aug. 30 greeted arriving families at the Residence Life complex. Also greeting them was the small army of more than 100 employees, students and housing staff serving as helpers, and providing directions and muscle power as jam-packed vehicles were unloaded and gear was toted inside.
