Queen of the Internet: For one week, she’s voice of UW System

For one week in February, a UW-Green Bay student is the official voice of the @UWpowersMe Twitter account.

Senior Nellie Schafer began her weeklong UW System guest-tweeting stint Feb. 18. By only the second day, she had already shared a mini-tour of campus, videotaped comments from her fellow students, described her classroom experience dissecting owl droppings, worn the Phoenix mascot costume, weathered a snow squall, connected with alumni… and much more.

She also wore a head-cam contraption (a Go Pro camera taking one image every 30 seconds) on Tuesday to capture a true “day in the life” of everything she’s seen.

Check out her tweets (and give her a follow!). Check out our press release to find out more about Schafer.
