Public Safety experts counsel ‘Run/Hide/Fight’


In the wake of last week’s murders at an Oregon community college, local media inquired about UW-Green Bay training related to possible active-shooter situations on this campus. Although officials declined to go on camera, they did share a link to an employee-oriented video endorsed by the Office of Public Safety on its Emergency Information webpage. There, under a link labeled “Run/Hide/Fight Video,” is a short, thorough and realistically portrayed 5-minute clip produced by the city of Houston as a workplace training tool. Worth a look.
