The Academic Staff Professional Development Allocations Committee announces that it has funds available to assist academic staff in attending professional development meetings and programs. The committee reminds employees that the travel ban has been lifted. Funding is available for up to 50 percent of the total cost, not to exceed $500. Total funding provided is subject to availability and may be less than requested. Note that funds will not be awarded “after the fact.” A department/office cannot be reimbursed (through a chargeback) for expenses related to an activity that has already occurred. Please submit all materials electronically to: Steve Newton. Subject: Professional Development Allocations. Applications will be reviewed as they are received. If you have questions, please contact any of the 2015-2016 committee members: Steve Newton, Sue Bodilly, Paula Ganyard, Stephanie Kaponya and Nora Kanzenbach. For more information.
