Faculty from diverse disciplines to discuss biomedical ethics

In association with the new Lawton Gallery art exhibit, UW-Green Bay faculty members and local medical professionals will participate in an interdisciplinary panel discussion. Titled “Modern Family: Ethics and New Biotechnologies,” the panel will be held from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 7, in the Lawton Gallery foyer. It is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served. Nursing faculty members Susan Gallagher-Lepak and Janet Reilly will facilitate the discussion, which will include the following panelists: Prof. Derryl Block, UW-Green Bay Nursing chair; Joan Groessel, UW-Green Bay Social Work lecturer; Associate Prof. Warren Johnson, UW-Green Bay Human Biology chair; Associate Prof. Hye-Kyung Kim, UW-Green Bay Philosophy chair; Ben Kosewski, genetic counselor, Bellin Health; and Carmen Tust, registered nurse, Women’s Specialty Care.
