Faculty note: UW-Green Bay’s Rinfret appointed to Water Commission

Assistant Prof. Sara Rinfret of Public and Environmental Affairs was recently appointed to serve on the Green Bay Water Commission. The Commission oversees the operation of the Green Bay Water Utility and is composed of seven citizen members. Rinfret was appointed by the mayor to serve on the commission, which has a mission to provide safe, reliable, high-quality and low-cost potable water to residences and businesses in Green Bay. Rinfret, who joined the UW-Green Bay faculty in 2009, is a specialist in regulatory policy with an emphasis on environmental rules, public policy, and state and local government.
