UW-Green Bay academic advisers plan stops in North Central Wisconsin

Academic advisers from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay’s Adult Degree Program will be visiting several communities in North Central Wisconsin, April 20-26, to meet with adults who want to complete a UW bachelor’s degree without extensive commuting.

The UW-Green Bay staff members will counsel working adults who would like to finish their undergraduate education but are stymied by time and travel obstacles. Those challenges can be overcome by taking classes that are conducted primarily online and require one monthly face-to-face session at Nicolet College in Rhinelander.

UW-Green Bay academic advisers will be available for one-on-one discussions with prospective students and will offer a pair of free information sessions.

Advisers will be available on the following dates, times, and locations:

Tuesday, April 20: 8 a.m. – 6 p.m., University Transfer Center, 2nd floor, Nicolet College, Rhinelander

Wednesday, April 21: 8 a.m. – 6 p.m., University Transfer Center, 2nd floor, Nicolet College, Rhinelander

Thursday, April 22: 8 a.m. – 3 p.m., Northcentral Technical College, 1000 West Campus Drive; Transfer and Placement Office, Wausau

Monday, April 26: 11 a.m. – 5 p.m., Lac du Flambeau Tribal Education Office, 562 Peace Pipe Road, Lac du Flambeau

There will also be two free information sessions:

Tuesday, April 20: 6 – 7 p.m., University Transfer Center, Room 202, Nicolet College, Rhinelander

Monday, April 26: 6 – 7 p.m., Lac du Flambeau Tribal Education Office, 562 Peace Pipe Road, Lac du Flambeau

To set a time to meet with an adviser or to register for an information session, call toll-free (800) 621-2313 or register online at www.uwgb.edu/adultdegrees/infosessions.
