Transcript: The MS Management program is a two-year program that allows you to choose your schedule. And I actually chose the accelerated accounting track so I took some credits in my undergraduate which allows me to finish the program within one year and still be able to study for the CPA during my program. But there are other options like sports management and business management programs and it’s just up to you about how you want to do your education. I really like the MS Management program because there’s such a diverse group of people. There’s people from different age groups, experiences and nationalities which give many different perspectives. My favorite class is my Sustainable Management class. My professor brings in managers from the community to talk about sustainable management and then we’re actually in charge of presenting the chapters to our class. Our class debates it and it’s interesting to hear what other people from other countries think and just not the US. So, the professors at UWGB are very supportive and are always looking to help you professionally. I used to be this person that would never talk. I never would have thought that I would be in the research program or I’m a president of an organization. I would have never thought I would have done that when I went into college. So, I think that UWGB professors really pulled me out of my shell and got to me to be who I am today. UWGB has a career fair that allowed me to land three internship positions and gain experience in assurance tax and financial statement prep which has granted me multiple job offers and I’ve accepted one that will start after I graduate from the master’s program. I aspire to become a CEO of a corporation but ultimately my goal is to become an influential leader of any organization that I work in.
