Roughly 500 gather to protest budget repair bill

A crowd of students, faculty and staff gathered in the parking lot outside the University Union at noon today (Feb. 17) to protest the budget repair bill. Public Safety estimated the crowd to be about 500, many of who were carrying signs. Andrew Teale, president of the Student Government Association, organized the rally.

UW-Green Bay announces NAS Scholarship recipients

The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay has announced the Natural and Applied Sciences Scholarship recipients for the 2010-11 school year. The winners were recognized at a reception on Friday, Jan. 28 at the University Union. Many of this year’s recipients have worked in diverse areas related to their field of study and plan to attend graduate or professional school upon graduation from UW-Green Bay.
