No. 14! Phoenix ties highest national ranking

After winning its 15th-consecutive game last Saturday, the UW-Green Bay women’s basketball team (24-1) has tied its highest ranking in program history at No. 14 in the ESPN/USA TODAY Coaches Poll released today. The No. 14 ranking is Green Bay’s highest of the season after being ranked No. 15 in the Coaches Top 25 Poll in mid-January. The last time the Phoenix was ranked No. 14 was during the 2009-10 season. Green Bay’s highest national ranking in the AP Top 25 Poll was 16th, more than eight years ago, on Jan. 13, 2003.
