No. 14! Phoenix ties highest national ranking

After winning its 15th-consecutive game last Saturday, the UW-Green Bay women’s basketball team (24-1) has tied its highest ranking in program history at No. 14 in the ESPN/USA TODAY Coaches Poll released today. The No. 14 ranking is Green Bay’s highest of the season after being ranked No. 15 in the Coaches Top 25 Poll in mid-January. The last time the Phoenix was ranked No. 14 was during the 2009-10 season. Green Bay’s highest national ranking in the AP Top 25 Poll was 16th, more than eight years ago, on Jan. 13, 2003. This week the Phoenix is No. 17 in the AP Poll, also its highest AP ranking of the year. More.
