Phoenix Park a hit during welcome week

Student success is often tied to engagement. UW-Green Bay students took advantage of the beautiful weather, and the new volleyball courts situated in Phoenix Park to engage in a little friendly volleyball competition last weekend. They enjoyed the annual Res Life Olympics, Backyard Bash, Groovin Grounds and more, during “Welcome Week.” Campus welcomed approximately 600 new students this year, helping them acclimate to their home-away-from-home. Classes began for all students on Sept. 2.
