Freshman Move-in Day is Thursday, Aug. 28, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and noon. John Gerow of Residence Life says the initial appeal for volunteers met with a strong response from faculty and staff, but more help is needed. “Don’t miss out on this unique opportunity to help greet, welcome and assist our new residential freshmen as they move into housing. Parents and students are always very appreciative of the help provided by faculty, staff, student government leaders, and student athletes.” Residence Life is requesting volunteers to assist students in a variety of capacities, including the staffing of information tables, directing traffic, physically assisting students with move-in, and greeting parents and students. Those interested in participating are reminded to email Residence Life.
