Pics, list of winners: Laffle charity drive wraps up another successful year
Another year, another successful Laffle at UW-Green Bay. The popular raffle-like charity drive wrapped up Wednesday (Oct. 31) with a drawing for some really cool prizes.
Throughout the month of October, faculty and staff were encouraged to bring in food, supplies or monetary donations for Paul’s Pantry and the Bay Area Humane Society, this year’s chosen charities. The Registrar’s Office collected the donations, coordinating this awesome charitable effort for the fifth straight year.
As we told you earlier, this year’s grand prize was a hand-crafted kitchen play set, about four feet high by five feet long. The lucky winner of that item was Elaina Koltz.
